WP Hosting AS is responsible for the information we receive from our customers in the form of email dialogues and the tracking of visits to our website. This statement describes how we collect data, why we do it, and how we protect the information we hold.
What data we collect and why
When it comes to our customers, we only save the information that is absolutely necessary to deliver and invoice our services. Data about our customers is stored in our servers located at Amazon AWS. We are the data processor for this data ourselves.
We take care of communication by email to better help our customers and to have documentation for decisions. We use the Google and Zendesk as email providers and these are therefore data processors.
Traffic to our website is tracked with cookies from Google Analytics. We use this data to improve the use of the website and to measure the impact of our marketing efforts. Google is the data processor for this data.
We also maintain server logs from the traffic to our site. This is used to detect software errors and attacks against our services. These logs are stored in our servers at Amazon AWS.
Deleting data
We delete server logs after 6 months.
Data stored in Google Analytics is deleted after 26 months. (ikke mulig uten å slette View eller Property)
Customer information is deleted from our systems 3 months after the customer relationship has ended. This does not apply to information we are required to keep under the Accounting Act.
Possibility of access
If the customer wishes, we can give insight into what data we have stored.
Securing data
Only employees of WP Hosting have access to the data we collect. The data is stored in services secured by encrypted communications and passwords.
Sharing data with third parties
We do not share data with third parties.
