Pay with Vipps in many ways

The plugin can be used in several different ways and supports many different forms of sales. The Vipps Express Checkout is obviously useful, while shareable links and QR codes are exciting opportunities for those who sell slightly unfamiliar products.

Vipps Express Checkout

With Vipps Express Checkout, customers do not have to enter names, addresses, speed dials, and more. All the customer needs is to make the payment with a fingerprint in the Vipps app, and then Vipps sends everything needed back to the online store. Easy!

Traditional Checkout

The Vipps plugin also supports the traditional checkout, where the customer can choose between different payment solutions. This is very useful in segments where customers have different payment method preferences.

Shareable links

You can easily create links to the Express Checkout, where you have put a product in the checkout for the customer in advance. A handy feature if you are selling directly from a banner or an email. When the customer clicks on the link, you come straight to the checkout and can complete the purchase.

QR codes

You can also publish the shareable links in print as QR codes. You can then print the QR codes in magazines, posters, or flyers. And when scanning the code, you are taken straight to checkout with the product ready for payment.

Note: We can only help with problems with the plugin itself. For problems with Vipps per se, we refer to Vipps.

The plugin development is continuous, and bug fixes occur several times a month. All releases come Monday or Tuesday.

All general development is paid for by Vipps, who also prioritizes what needs to be done.
